Masala Art review: The spice is right in Branchburg
27.05.11
The moment you enter Masala Art, India welcomes you with waves of exotic aromas, creating a receptive atmosphere and adventurous.
Masala is a blend of spices and how they are treated in this restaurant is truly art. Cumin, coriander, cloves, cinnamon, black pepper and other ingredients invite selected as they mingle with the smell of chicken tandoori, lamb simmering, ginger, onions, garlic and many other things. It is a stimulant for the appetite awakens even further by reading the menu intriguing.
Dozens of options to be a delicious dilemma: What to order? The scent of spices hooks you, then you're staggered in the descriptions of each dish.
Who, for example, could say no to Dansik shrimp ($ 14.95) - shrimp marinated in honey, vinegar and spices cooked with lentils. The mini-narrative of its flavor spectrum goes in this direction: "sweet, sour and spicy." What more could you ask?
The key to the enjoyment comes with the satisfaction that spice is used to enhance rather than camouflage. The main elements of the compositions, either meat, seafood or vegetables, are encouraged to come across in a pleasant setting.
