But whats the meaning behind this date, the largest in the calendar for our friends across the pond?

Well its bad news for us because the Brits celebrate the day they get rid of us.

Back in 1776 Britain ruled in America until they stage a revolution to expel us.

All parts of the country combined to become the United States and their government issued a statement at odds with the British Empire, the Declaration of Independence.

Now, every year Americans celebrate their freedom with a day of fireworks, parades, barbecues, picnics, concerts, sporting events and political ceremonies.

Victoria’s Secret Dream Angels perfume offers several different varieties for any woman to enjoy, whether you are into floral scents, oriental notes or something in between. I chose Heavenly because I fell in love with the way it smelled on my sister, and I wanted to see if it would smell that fantastic with my body chemistry.

If you like vanilla and oriental scents, you’ll probably love Dream Angels Heavenly. Classified as a “vanilla oriental,” the perfume combines top notes of quince and cardamom with middle notes of white peony and freesia. The blend finally comes together with the lower notes of vanilla, sandalwood, and white musk for a creamy, intoxicating scent fit for the romantic in you.

I purchased the set that included the perfume, lotion, and shower gel and was eager to try everything so I could see how it reacted to my body chemistry. I did a test spritz on my wrist and waited about an hour to see how the scent would develop, and I was in love. I didn’t think it was possible to love a fragrance this much, but there is something so inviting about Dream Angels Heavenly that it makes me feel like a brand new woman every time I wear it!

Because this is an actual perfume and not a light body mist, it only takes a spritz or two to get the job done. You don’t want to pile it on and walk into your office or home smelling like a perfume counter! I spritzed this on my wrists, the back of my knees, and dabbed a little on my neck and I received compliments all day.

The scent is light without being overpowering and is surprisingly long lasting. I put it on early in the morning and the scent was still going strong by nightfall. I found that when you layer the fragrance (i.e. use the shower gel, the lotion, and then the perfume) the scent will last even longer. Oftentimes, I’ve gone to bed and woke up the next morning with the scent still lingering on my skin. I have never had a perfume that has done that before!
